Hoppy Birthday is known as “The world’s most celebrated beer.” A Pale Ale, it benefits from a heavy dose of dry-hopping and is truly a gift to the senses. This bold brew has an intense hop-bitterness, but the pine aroma is the star of the show.

355 ml can. Pours unclear honey golden with a big foamy head. Loads of pine, honey, caramel, mango, grapefruit, pineapple, herbal notes, licorice. Hoppy herbal bitterness, honey sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, hoppy bittersweet finish. Really great and really hoppy APA, very IPA-like

Thuis uit een blikje. Heel licht troebel. Gouden kleur, wit schuim. Aroma al lekker hoppig, grapefruit. Smaak goede bitterheid, evengoed zacht, ook weer citrus. Heerlijk.

Can picked up from Saveur-Biere webshop Lille, France and consumed at home Friday 5th February 2021, listening to Bicep - Isles and cooking Chicken Tikka Masala with all the accompaniments. Pours warm gold with a white head, reasonable clarity, actually there is a little bit of haze. Pleasant bitterness, simple but decent pale ale. Soft carbonation, light lemony citrus, good, dry finish

12 fl oz can from hopt.it. Pours amber gold, clear, with fine white foam. Aroma is hoppy, herbaceous, piney. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste is medium-high bitter. Final is fairly long and bitter.

0,33l bottle from Pien Iso-Omena, Espoo. Almost clear light amber beer with small head. Aroma has peach and other sweet fruits, malt and caramel. Taste has malt, caramel, hops and peach. Drier pine and bitterness does also exist at the end. Medium body. Good one.
