Nach einem bisher gut gehüteten, Jahrhunderte alten Familienrezept gebraut, ist „Fürsten Hell Original“ ein ebenso charaktervolles wie süffiges Bier, das im berühmten Wallersteiner Felsenkeller zu perfekter Reife gebracht wird.

Bottle picked up from Getränke Haussman, Feldkirchen and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Wednesday 1st January 2020, listening to DJ Shadow on 6 Music and cooking a Sausage Casserole. Pours crystal clear light mid gold with a white head. Fresh, clean beer, fruity and simple, quite good.

Pale yellow colour, small white head. Grassy, harsh like hop extract aroma with some green vegetables. Light-bodied. Sweetish malty, some grassy-vegetably hops. Typical Bavarian supermarket helles.

A light yellow beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has grain, malts, some grass. Taste has maltyness with grain, mild bitterness, some sweetness of honey. Medium bodied. Pure. Decent.

50cl bottle. At home. Poured clear golden color. Thin white head. Grassy, sweet, malty aroma. Flavor has sweetness, grass, malts, and light hops. Light, ok.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, a bit wheaty-spicy. Not too dry. Finish still mild, almost a bit washy. Okay.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Doughy and slightly grainy pale malty aroma with hints of vegetable/celery. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm, almost tame carbonation. Soft pale malt character with notes of white bread, grainy spots and delicately herbal hops towards the sweet and restrained bitter finish. All in all too tame for my liking. 29.V.16
