Inspiré par la noirceur des sous-bois ardennais aux portes de l'hiver, ce Porter de 5,5% d'alcool associe l'amertume et le caractère épicé de l'Hallertau Perle aux arômes de café des malts torréfiés.

At a great tasting in Vranovo-Serbia, with markoijelena and cika Boban. Bottle. Thank you Tim, Pours black with reddish reflexes, ivory head. Nose: coffee far away, some metallic notes (!). Mouth: very watery and boring.

28/XII/14 - 33cl bottle (batch 2) @ the brewery - BB: n/a (2014-1545)
Clear black beer, big creamy irregular beige head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of citrus, exotic fruits, malty, some coffee, hint of caramel. MF: ok carbon, full body, creamy texture. Taste: lots of citrus, pretty hoppy, bit sourish, grapefruit. Aftertaste: mocha, bitter hops, citrus, grassy, nice roast, some coffee, dry finish. Really nice beer! I would put this under black IPA, but I understand they used much more hops in this batch and will be toning it down a bit with the next batches...
