Bottle 75 cl. Pours a murky, dark brown with a small, off-white head. Lovely but not overwhelming oaky aroma. Body is incredibly thin for an Imperial Stout, and the underlying tartness is somewhat off-putting. 181218

Bottle kindly sent to the UK by Sebastian from La Sommellerie de Bières. Pours hazy dark brown with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of red berries, chocolate, blackcurrent, caramel and cake. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, touch of tartness. Medium to full bodied, slick texture, average carbonation. Finish is rich, fruity, slightly acidic. Enjoyable.

From a 750ml bottle at Kraft-Bier Festival Trier. Murky Brown. Aromas of roasted malts, cocoa. Subtle acidity, red wine Barrel character. Interesting!

From bottle. A hazy reddish brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of wood, tart red fruits, grapes. Taste of dark fruits, wood, red berries, some coffee.
