Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing. Smooth round beginning. Malty, smooth with caramelly hints. Easy to drink, rich and malty smooth, round and soft. Nice burned caramel in the aftertaste, very dry, hints of hazelnuts. Very nice and smooth soft beer.

33cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet dark malt, chocolate, melasse, caramel. Taste of sweet chocolate malt, caramel, toffee, nuts, bread, sweet mild roated bitter finish.

9/12/11/9/10/11

Gourmet-Fläschla: Deep brown colour, presumably hazy, small but stable off-white head; moderate sweetish-bitter toasty-roasty nose with traces of dried fruits and with a tinge of soy-sauce; pretty dry bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied; lingering bitter-sweet roasty and delicate caramelly finish. Good! I wish that many Brown-Ales were so Stout-like...

(bottle, 33cl) Dark brown colour with a beige and short foamy head. Roast-malty aroma with ashy notes, as well as hints of caramel, dark and milk coffee and fudge. Moderately bitter and slightly tart favour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Dark roasted malty and chocolate-laden, slightly roasted and tart taste; dry and mildly bitter, slightly tart and bitter finish. Something between a Brown Ale and a dry Stout. 12.VIII.17
