Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing. Smooth caramelly beginning. Malty, moderate bitter with a rich and fruity malty body. Deep and rich, more bitterness than expected, easy to rink with nice malty caramel in the back.

33cl bottle. A clear dark golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of toasted malt, riped fruits, grains. Taste of strong grainy malt, toasted malt, riped fruits, reddish malt, strange!

Stark getreidiger, pappig süßer Beginn, muffig. Wenig herb, plump, fehlerhaft wirkend. Mild hopfig ohne sondelriche Frische, konstant getreidig. Zum Ende weniger süß und insgesamt besser aber höchstens trinkbar. 8/6/6/6/7/6

Gourmet-Fläschla: Deep golden with a orangey sheen, hazy to cloudy, quickly collapsing loose white head, dryish herbal to strawy hoppy nose with a distinctive rural grainy and a shy tart citrussy-fruity background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour with a slight acidity, presumably caused by fresh hops, nearly medium bodied; slightly lingering dry herbal and lemony finish. Just another franconian goody...

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a short and minimally off-white frothy head. Distinctively bready malty aroma with notes of butter, caramel, onions and a whiff of citric and herbal-spicy hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly bready malty taste with notes of butterscotch, toffee and mildly hoppy spice in the background; sweet and slightly buttery malty and delicately hop bitter finish with lasting notes of toffee in the aftertaste. Interesting brew. 06.VIII.17
