Twents Bok is een stevig, ondergistend seizoensbier. Door de toevoeging van het donkerste mout heeft het een robuuste, licht-bittere smaak met een prettige zoete afdronk. Toch heeft dit donkere bier een soepel karakter. Het volle aroma wordt bekroond met een stevige schuimkraag.

Bottle at WWT tasting thanks to Kermis. Clear reddish brown with nice off white head. Caramel, bitter vegetables, some nuts, hay. Quite sweet with herbal/vegetal bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Sample at the brewpub. Thin off white head. Clear amber pour. Sweet. Not much to it.

Thanks bierkoning! Dark nut brown color, nice beige head. Aroma has rye bread and toasted sugar. Medium-bodied. Also flavor is sweetish, brown sugar, light alcohol - crystal malts. Sweet and one-dimensional.

Thanks to bierkoning for that one. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark, almost black, small head. Starts mild, malty with some chocolate hints. Dry background. Finish with fruity notes of raisins. Okay.

Bottle 750ml. @ home on the terrace.Clear light dark red brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light malty, bread, caramel, malt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, malt sweet, bread. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120526]

Clear dark mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, chocolate and caramel. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, hints of anise. Finished sweet.
