Bottle 22fl.oz. @ The Danish Summer Gathering, TFODRBSG12, Ulfborg.Dark brown black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, alcohol - borubon, coffee. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, bourbon, buzzy, cacao, chocolate, very rich flavor. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120818]

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering Ulfborg, 2012. Pours black with a creamy head and lacings. Soy, vanilla, roast and coffee. Smooth and slick. Really nice.

Bottle, 11% @ FOneFan, Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2012. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, coffee, hop, liquorice, medium sweet and a little bitter.

Bottle, 22oz, at TFODRBSG 2012. 2010 vintage it seems, but the wax was more copper than gold, so maybe 2012? A black one, more or less, clear looking and topped by a dense, beige head. Dark chocolate, roasted malts, some coffee and a touch of vanilla. A little bit of vanilla on the palate, with roasted malts, something boozy, dark chocolate and a little bit of coffee. Full body, soft on the palate. Lasting chocolatey finish. I guess Mr Churchill could’ve had some fine hours with this one. 120818
