Bottle at Cantillon. Deep opaque garnet pour with a pinkish head. Mild vinous aromas. Sweeter and smoother than Pineau d’ Aunis. Sweet Merlot or Pinot Noir vinous highlights. Sweet grape and malty backbeats. Good body and mouthfeel.

0,75l from bottle at the brewery. Purplish color, small white head. Smells joghurt, wine, tannins, oak, spices. Very nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation. Tastes of red wine, tannins, earthy, spices, peppery, bit lactic, light horse radish. Finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of tannins, spices and peppery notes.very nice one, very good to drink, a bit of age wouldn't hurt this one

14/VIII/21 - 75cl bottle, shared @ Cantillon brewery (Brussels), BB: n/a, bottled: n/a (no back label) (2021-789) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Pretty clear deep ruby red beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of diacetyl weird enough, juicy, red wine, some tannins, bit soapy. Not too bad, but weird smells are present here. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: spicy, dry, bit herbal, nice acidity, some tannins, funky. Aftertaste: dry, little bitter, some sweet and sour apples, some more tannins, nice acidity, hint of vinegar, lovely stuff.

Bottle @ Cantillon. Pours hazy dark red with a medium punk head. God damn, this looks good! Aroma has such a deep vinous character, tannins, oak, funk, cheese, stable notes, jam. Taste is vinous, red grapes, funky, tart, jammy, tannic, cheesy, hay and dry tart finish. Probably my favorite from Cantillon ever. God damn this is good.
