Bottle. Ruby red color. Cherry and a hint of marzipan in the aroma. Cellar notes. Moderately sour flavor with cherry juice and lemon, prolonged in the aftertaste. Nice!

19/04/2019 - small taster @Alvinne Proefloft (thanks Luis) Clear red with a bit brown, no head. Nose is sour red fruits. Taste is sour red fruits, bit wood, dry. Nice aging.

Bottle thnx to David ! Pours unclear and dark redbrown. Small white head. Smell is cherries. The age shows, bringing more complexity. Taste is aged cherries. Mild sourness . Rather dry. Not bad. The age shows, bit i have a feeling this light be a good thing here.

Been holding on to this one for a VERY long time. :-) Clear ruby red beer, no head. Aroma: lots of sweet ripe cherries, cherry candy ("poepegatjes"), lots of marzipan, almonds. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of sour cherries, pretty dry, bit of almonds, metallic touch., sour. Aftertaste: dry, bit metallic, lots of sour cherries, some tannins.

Bottle shared. Pours cloudy red brown with a small pinkish tan head. Aroma of tart red fruits, cherry, funk. Flavor is heavy sour. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

No head, just some bubbles. Aroma is sour-ish fruity, sour red berries, berry skin, sorrel, mild vinegar, grass, oak, soda powder, rhubarb, hints of thinner. Taste is dry and sour, sorrel, raw rhubarb, berry skin, sour red berries, soda powder, lemon, oak, grass, vinegar. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours murky reddish brown with a fizzy pinkish offwhite head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sour and tiny malty with dark bread, sour cherries, red wine vinegar, moist hay, moist wood, lemon juice, red currants, sour milk and barnyard. Taste is sour with bread, red wine vinegar, moist hay, moist wood, sour cherries, lemon juice, moist soil, grapefruit juice, leathersour milk, leather and lemon hard candy. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, tiny round and medium bodied. Finish is sour, tiny fruity and tiny malty with dark bread, sour cherries, lemon juice, moist hay, wood and leather. Bottle 330ml. [ Batch 278 ]. Clear dark red colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white - pink head. Aroma is moderate cherry, tart cherry, sour and fruit cherry. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, cherry, tart - sour cherry, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120317]
