Slightly hazy, reddish brown cherry colour, slight pinkish white head. Aroma of tart cherries, light sweet cherry touches, wood and vanilla tones. Quite tart flavour, sour cherry, lots of fruity cherries. Light cherry pips. Finish fruity cherry with a slight astringency. Very nice! Whether it is age or the different recipe I don’t know, but I like this one much more than the newer Kerasus.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ RBWG 2012 – personal contribution – pours a bright cherry/pomegranate colour with basically no head – smell is lots of tart & slightly sweet cherries – taste is tart cherries, lots of them, clear & defined, very fruity, touch acidic followed by an undertone/aftertaste of sweeter cherries, bit syrup, liqueur-like, touch old wood, easy drinkable, soft carb. very nice

50 cl bottle @ RBBWG 2012, Antwerpen. Courtesy of 77ships.

Bottled. A hazy red-brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma candy sugar, malt, bread, and yeast. The flavor is acidic with notes of candy sugar, malt, and brettanomyces, leading to a tart finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

No head, foxy red beer, seemingly utterly uncarbonated. Cherries, cherrystones, waffles syrup. Tart, but not overly fruity cherryflavours. Brown ale, Rodenbach-like, and wet wood. Finish has again hints of cherryliqueur, if not sweet. Rather well-bodied, fruit-filled, but well-attenuated - somehow, if not logical. Nice, different from the first Kerasus.
