bottle (Gruß nach Bochum!). Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Grassy hoppy nose with a sweet touch. Full-bodied, malty-biscuity base with some rather shy grassy hops. Not as "frühlingshaft" as expected, quite nice, though.

(swing top bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Sweet pale malty aroma with notes of biscuits, hints of grain and grassy and herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with an almost crisp carbonation. Pale malty and biscuity taste with rounded grassy and herbal hops; a bit slim bitter-sweet finish with notes of hops and a tinge of alcohol. A likeable and quite rounded pale Bock. 11.III.11

Bottle, courtesy of Dedollewaitor. It’s a clear, golden beer with a small, off-white head. Quite alcoholic on the nose, fruity too, and with a touch of dms. Nice bitterness in the flavor, fruity and with some dms. Quite malty too. Full-bodied, slightly warming. Lasting finish with bitterness and alcohol. Not a very succesful one, but the hop use pulls the score upwards. 110319

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden persistent mid-sized white head, visible carbonation; pale-malty nose, comleted by bisquits and grassy hops; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and pretty soft; slightly lingering bitter-bisquity finish. A fresh and well balanced Bock.......
