Clear medium golden colour, small frothy white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Malty aroma, toasted, grainy, sugar. Taste medium to light heavy sweet, slightly bitter, very malty, toffee, sugary, average to long duration, bit more bitterness in the sweet bready finish. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, sweet but not too, easy to drink.

Small Bugelflasche. Spora piana ale szybko opadajaca. Jasne i klarowne piwo. Slodowe delikatne mało nachmielone. Polnoc Niemiec to nie to samo co południe w kozlaczkach. Majowy Bock zbyt delikatny jak dla mnie. Rozczarowanie

330ml flip top bottle from Beers of Europe - Hazy golden body, big fluffy white head. Sweet malt aroma, leafy hops. Sugary sweet entry, light aromatics. Chewy, almost sticky body. Claggy in the mouth, but worth the effort.

Bottle. Golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is yeasty and dryly hopped with fruitiness. The flavour has a rich under tone and is yeasty and fruity with a smooth dry finish. Overall a nice German beer.

Lys brun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter korn og brunt sukker. Søtbitter smak. Lett bitter som sitter til avslutningen.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Gentle carbonation. Nose - lightly honeyed malt. Taste - more of the same. Quite syrupy in fact. There’s a bit of a lemon tang on the finish. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a finish that just needs to be slightly more dry. Overall - decent bock, would like just a bit more bitterness to balance it.
