It is a classical black IPA, easy to drink for the beginners, bitter, some roasted malt, a bit watery, pleasant black body, good brewery, 09.07.17, at Lausanne, Prélaz buying it at bootlegger, Paris.

Sampled at Strasbourg craft beer festival. Very dark brown with beige head. Lots of earthy roast, walnuts, raw cocoa beans, ash, light dank hops and soft grass, dead leaves. More like a deep roasted stout than black IPA, there’s not too many hops. Medium sweet, solid medium bitter. Bit over medium bodied with dry roasted finish.

Bottle from the brewery. Fresh bitter grainy beginning. Very dry with lots of roasted bitter grain. Floral hops over a slightly grainy bitter body. Nice round and deep, intense with lots of bitter roast in the aftertaste.

Bottle shared with Erzengel. A clear dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of intense citrusy bitter hops, chocolate, dark malt. Taste of dark roasted malt, cofffe, citrusy bitter hops, quite fresh. Good!

Bottle shared at a Yom Kippur eve tasting at Max’s place. Thanks mom for this bottle! Black with a tan head. Great aroma of fruity, "green", piney hops, roast, and some coffee. Flavor is quite dry, with roast, a bit of coffee, and nice bitter fruity and piney hops. Medium-bodied, rounded. A really good Black IPA.

Bottle in garden 12th August 16. Pours a murky dark brown liquid. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, pine. Taste is bitter and aromatic citrus hops, pine, good integrated roasted malts. A good hoppy BIPA, maybe my favourite French one
