Gärstarke Hefen haben die ursprünglichen 14 % Stammwürze zu einem außergewöhnlich hohen Teil zu Alkohol vergoren, dadurch wirkt das Bier sehr trocken und nur wenig restsüß. Der sehr intensive Flavourhopfen Azacca hinterläßt kräftige Fruchtnoten nach Zitrus und Mango in Geruch und Geschmack.
Übrigens: Der Hopfen Azacca ist benannt nach dem haitianischen Geistwesen der Landwirtschaft.

Flasche 0,33l: Bernstein, Kupfer, klar, mäßig stabiler mittelporiger Schaum; frische + leicht fruchtige Nase, würzige Süße, dezente Zitrusnoten, kräutrig, leicht harzig, Sandelholz, frische Hopfennoten, Malz, Röstmalz, Getreide, Röstaromen, leichte fruchtige Säure; fruchtig-frischer Körper, kräftige frische Hopfennoten, sehr würzig, Röstaromen, cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, Hefearomen, Kräuter, holzig/harzig; angenehmer fruchtig-trockener Nachgang mit kräftigen würzigen Hopfenaromen

33cl bottle. A clear dark golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dry yeasty fruits, rotten banana, clove, resins. Taste of orange fruits, resinous hops, yeasty fruits, some banana, strange!

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, amber colour with a short and slightly tanned foamy head. Fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, pears and a tinge of resin, backed by bready malt. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderately dry and bready malty base with fruity and slightly resiny hops; bitter hoppy and slightly sweet malty finish with fruity notes and shades of alcohol shining through. Likeable but not especially dry. 25.IX.18

Trocken hopfiger Beginn, helles Holz. Geringe Bitterkeit, sehr süffig, dunkles Malz ab dem Mittelteil. Vollmundig, die Hopfigkeit bleibt konstant und wird zum Ende stärker. Mittellanger Nachhall. 9/10/9/10/7/10

17-08-18 // 330ml bottle bought at the brewery. Clear golden. Small white head. Dry malty body. Sparkling, indeed some champagny touches. Mild azaccca fruit notes. Quite bitter finish.
