The Sabaja Smoked Porter is loaded with notes of chocolate and coffee, mingled with subtle hints of peat smoke in a deliciously full-bodied black ale. Balanced by a tasteful bitterness, the Smoked Porter is a hearty drink; tasty during the summer, but truly in its element during the colder months. This beer is delicious on own, and outstanding when complementing food.

Bottle from trade - thanks ippoppotamo! Sabaja Smoked Porter 5.4% the nose is cocoa powder, a touch of smoke + a bit musty smoke... Light bodied with a raspy carbonation. The taste is bitter acrid dark malts, chalky cocoa powder & light smoke. Alright.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and others. Black coloured, small beige head, chocolate caramel nose with touch of mold. Roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and hint of hops with slight roasty finish. Got potential but so far pretty average.

Huge thanks to Alberto and Matt for getting this and Milan and Andrej for helping it get to us. Shared with Ogi, heavy and Hrabren. Brown-black body with a small, thick off white head. Caramel assault in the aroma, empty caramel taste. Very, very llgiht bitterness. Smoked? Hardly. Tastes like an ordinary dunkel. Cute label and concept at least. Guess I have to rerate it.

Dark reddish brown colour, beige head. Smoky aroma, butter, quite harsh smoke, band aid. Bit herbal flavour, smoke, bacon, light chocolate, caramel. Finish caramel, band aid and smoke. Interesting beer, nice to see there are craft brews coming out of Prishtina.

Thank you tderoeck! Tasting glass from 330 ml. medicine-style bottle consumed @ “The Tasting formerly known as Mons RBBAG I (2014)”. Reddish dark brown with no head. Nose is strange smoked earth, farmland. Taste is herbal, weak, wood, strange, earth, farmland, watery, sugar, strange,… Light body, watery,… Not very good, at least they are trying in a non-beer country I suppose.

Draft at the source. Deep dark clear ruby maroon color, thick tan head with good retention and fine lacing. Aroma of roasty coffee grounds and chocolate syrup. Taste is roasty plums, dark coffee. Body is light to medium, making it very easy to drink. Tasty.

Black color, tick beige foam. Aroma of roasted malts, smoked cheese and grass. I have also noticed some lime due to the hops used. Quite mild mouth, medium carbonation and a balanced bitterness. This is the best Sabaja so far...the young brew master has improved the quality. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
