Many thanks to Erzengel for this bottle! A clear deep golden beer with a huge most good lasting off-white head. aroma of caramelish malt, nuts. taste of dry caramelish malt, nuts, some spicy hops and grains.

bottle from Bochum! Clear chestnut-brown colour, mid-sized fluffy off-white head. Malty, shy hints of caramel and very shy boiled vegetables in the background.

50 cl. Vielen lieben Dank an Anja! Schöne dunkle Bernsteinfarbe, neutral-metallischer Geruch. Der Antrunk ist malzig-würzig, etwas neutral, aber gut. Der Hauptteil ist schön malzig ausgewogen, ganz leicht brotige Töne spürbar. Aber gut. Im Nachgeschmack mittellang, schön malzig, süffig. Vielleicht etwas süßlich. --> Leckeres süffiges Dunkel! 12/12/12/12

Bügelverschlußflasche (as Rudi’s Hofbräu, same ABV, same back-side label): Amber coloured, almost clear, stable off-white foamy layer, dryish barnyardy toasty nose; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied; short and delicate bitter-sweet finish. Not unpleasant, not too sweet, but too thin...
