50cl bottle. Minimal gusher! A clear orange brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark caramelish malt, burned malt. Taste of burned caramel, dark malt, hints of chocolate.

Der Geruch ist schön röstmalzig-herb, der Schaum ist schön süßlich-cremig und leicht braun. Der Antrunk ist süffig-frisch und leicht süßlich. Der Hauptteil ist malzig-süßlich und sehr süffig. Kaum Herbe spürbar. Der Nachgeschmack ist gant leicht schokoladig. Es fehlt an Röstmalzaromen, die nur ganz leicht in Anklängen vorhanden sind. Auch fällt die Herbe sehr gering aus.
--> Ein leckeres, süffiges Dunkel, dem aber mehr Herbe und mehr Röstmalz gut tun würde.

Bottle @ Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. Pours unclear amber with a creamy head. Lots of bread and caramel. Chewy malty. Really tasty and smooth.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, mid-sized, slowly collapsing off-white foamy layer; moderate caramelly-malty, almost nutty nose with a delicate hoppiness in the background; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; a bit drier malty and hoppy finish. Decent, unspectacular.......

bottle, thank you MKoritzF! Clear chestnut colour, large and oamy beige head. Malty nos ewith hints of caramel. Medium-bdoeid, velvety mild mouthfeel, flavours of roasetd malt and caramel, hints of toffee and slightly hoppy in the lingering finish.

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a big, light-beige foamy head. Sweet toast-malty nose with caramel, toffee on a light herbal hoppy background. Light-bitter flavour, rather slim bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Toasty malty taste, a bit one dimensional with light notes of caramel and a rising bitterness and herbal spice towards the finish, which is furthermore pretty dry and moderately toasted. Clean but also a bit boring Dunkel (01.05.08).

Malzig-bitterer Antrunk, würzig, angenehm. Etwas süß werdend, im Vordergrund weiter die aromatische Malznote, die aber auch hintergründige Noten zulässt, so wie die Hopfigkeit, die zuerst nur zaghaft wirkt, dann aber im Nachgeschmack zuschlägt, ohne das Malz zu verdrängen. An amber beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry end.
