(swing top bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a non-persistent off-white foamy head. Quite discreet aroma: sweet toast-malty nose with caramel, shy hints of cacao and alcohol. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Solid toasted malty base with caramel and very subtle dried fruity notes; moderately sweet toasty malt-accented finish with a shy touch of alcohol shining through. Decent but not an overwhelming Bock (07.07.08).

Bottle, 7.2%. At first there is some CO2 aroma, then it turns malty in a dark malt, sweet way. Clear brown colour, very fizzy unstable head. Nicely malty flavour, quite peppery, but in good balance. There is not much hoppiness until the finish when I get a little aromatic hops and a mild bitterness. Good mouthfeel, and OK carbonation in spite of the fizzy head.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt. Solid and full-bodied with lots of roasted malt and a touch of....cinnamon? Dry and rather bitter finish. 290407

Bottled. A copper colored beer with a huge bubbly beige head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel and alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, alcohol, and metal, as well as light notes of fruit, leading to a bitter end.
