Our first ever white stout is as robust and as flavourful as all our other (darker) stouts usually are however this pale coloured beer is packed with plenty of coffee and lactose to recreate one of the finest cocktails of all time.

Bottle from Hoptimism. Creamy vanilla aroma with some spice over hazy malt. Golden. We have a gusher. Foams up as soon as I open the bottle and maintains a thick foamy white head. Light-medium sour citrus with underlying cocoa bitterness. A sweet edge in the finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Astringent finish. Enjoyable fruity stuff. But I should really have a White Russian so I know what it should taste like. *Can't be bothered to insert a Big Lebowski joke.*

33cl bottle from BeardedAvenger, thanks mate! A hazy amber beer with a big off-white head. Aroma of mild roasted malt, coffee, some herbs. Taste of coffee, moderate sweet strong pale malt, vanilla. Interesting!
