Herber, hefig-getreidiger Beginn. Süffig, geringe Bitterkeit, die ab dem Mittelteil ansteigt. Minimal fruchtig, die Getreidenoten sind aber immer stärker. Mittellanger Abgang. 9/10/9/9/8/9

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Husky, grainy, minimally doughy yeasty, and yeasty fruity aroma, hints of yellow apple, minimally grassy and citrusy hoppy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish malty, slightly yeasty fruity and minimally doughy yeasty, hints of yellow apple, a touch of apricot, minimally grassy and citrusy hoppy overtones. Watery texture, minimally prickly carbonation. Not outstanding, to be sure, but really nice and refreshing.

Bottle from the Elsfleth Hol-Ab. Gold with a light haze. Frothy white head. Mildly lemony to floral aroma. Grainy undertones. Taste has a yeasty white bread sweetness balanced by a mildly grainy bitterness. Just a hint of tartness. Decent nuance given the overall simple feel of the brew. Medium bodied with balanced carbonation. Not bad.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Starts mild, malty, modest spicy. More and more dry, some metallical notes. Finish well balanced. Okay.

0,33 l bottle from a Hol´Ab! market. Unclear pale yellow with a small fast fading head in the glass. Low dry pale grain smell. Taste is what I expect from a Kräusen. Dry pale grain with a decent bitterness and some caramel in the second row. Hints of citrus in the background. Below average carbonation. Not as bitter as the Platzhirsch so far as I remember from the past. Quaffable stuff.
