An American Porter, black in color. Draws a creamy tan head, which yields a chocolate malty aroma blended with citrus-like aroma of American hops. This ale penetrates your palate with flavors of caramels, dark chocolates, nuts and hops.

4oz pour at Churchkey pours a translucent brown with some thick, white head. Nose is so spot on, toast, mild coffee, cracker, nutty, some chocolate, a little cereal. Flavor is also spot on, malty, bread crust, chocolate, brown sugar. Everything meshes really well. Dry finish.

GABF 2013. Pours a deep brown/black appearance with a thin head. Very roasty, chocolate, light coffee, a bit spicy piney hoppy aroma. Kind of goopy sweet malty flavor with some coffee and roast notes. I wasn’t a big fan of this one.

A clear brown porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, chalky chocolate with light herbal notes. In mouth, sweet crisp herbaceous chocolate with grassy and mineral notes, ok.
