22/IV/13 - 33cl bottle @ Rampkrot (Deurne) - BB: VI/2013 (2013-369) Thanks to Bartlebier for sharing the bottle!
Clear bright orange beer, small off-white to yellowish head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: grains, bit malty, sweet, citrus, orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots of citrus fruits, a bit aged already, orange peel, pretty watery. Aftertaste: citrus, yeast, bitterness, bit of chloride, bitter hops, not as nice as I had dared to hope for. Some extra points for having the guts to brew this in Germany.

Spritzig geleert Antrunk, vergleichsweise wenig Hopfen. Hell süffig, süffig, erfrischend. Geschmacklich nett aber kein wirkliches IPA 9/9/12/11/11/11

(bottle, 33cl, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Hazy, golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly yeasty and cara-malty aroma with notes of citrus-fruity and herbal hops. Mildly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly grainy (cara-)malty base with fruity and herbal hoppy accents; quite dry and slightly doughy malty finish with a good load of herbal and fruity hops. Nicely done interpretation of an IPA in the German way. 11.II.13

Big thanks to quack-duck for that beer. Looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts strong, intense hoppy, modest dry. Wonderful fruity-hoppy, modest sourish, notes of lemon. A bit soapy, but not too much. Finish well balanced with fruity notes of grapefruit. Great IPA!
