Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks very simple but very good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost no head. Dry malty-alcoholic aroma. Starts intense roasty-malty alcoholic, burning. Tastes like much more alcohol than 11% ABV. Some fruity notes as well, peaches, modest sweet. Warming burning alcoholic finish. Heavy beer!

Love it! Lovely oxidation on an otherwise great base UK BW. --- Beer merged from original tick of Barley Wine (13.5%) on 09 Mar 2021 at 23:12 - Score: 8. Original review text: Dessert at home. Sweet dark bread, date syrup, ashy bitterness balanced by the sweetness and a pleasant alcohol burn. Very thick and viscous. Great now but most likely even better with age.

Shared @ Koelschtrinker's tasting. 11% version. Sticky sourish beginning. Deep fruity, red fruit, the ABV is not there. Long fruity woody aftertaste with hints of roasted malts in the back. Very interesting.

15cl bottle. A clear orange brown beer with a small beige head. Aroma of caramelized strong malt, wood. Taste of strong riped red fruits, caramel, raisins, wood.

Trade with BreweryProfessor32. Malzig-säuerlicher, wenig alkoholischer Antrunk. Holzig-malzig im Mittelteil, sehr trocken werdend, zum Ende wenig süß. Trockener Abgang. Okay, schwach angesichts des Alkoholgehalts. 9/8/9/9/8/9

Backlog. Denna batch 14%. Mörk, näst intill svart med knappt nån krona alls. Sött med väldigt russin och kandisocker. Stor, kletig kropp. Inte supermycket värme från alkoholen men visst märks den av lite. Kanske lite enkelspårig, väcker inte helt intresset. Finns potential men hade gärna haft lite mer djup och komplexitet.

Bottle@Peders, Copenhagen (2nd year Anniversary Party) - (13.7% version) - pours dark amber brown with a tiny beige head. Dark sweet sticky malty with notes of caramel and toffee, lots of dark dried fruit in play, somewhat singed brown sugar, full bodied, wineous, dark sweet malty into the finish.

On tap at NK Ölbar. (my first beer from this brewery and my last ever beer at NK Ölbar) Dark brown with no head. Sweet with dried fruit, caramel, malt and madeira. The body was full and the finish long. A nice one.
