Dark straw-yellow; yellowish tinted, very fine & dense head. Strange nose, first sweet with toast or baked cake, then taken over by a repellent smell of goats’ cheese. Let me guess - "skunked" by the clear glass bottle? Again very toasted flavour, much more than the colour would suggest. Finishes crisp, leaving a bit of sweetness retronasal, which turns to full toffee flavour warming up. Light body, slight fizzy impression. Not very "erfreulich". I cannot understand why a micro can be that dense: bottling in clear glass. Thanks to my travelling partner in beer, TW.

Full gold. Aroma of blackberries, grapes, pale malts. Slightly crisp, vaguely grassy, with some light peach and pear esters. Generally a clean finish. Sweetish, well-constructed beer, but ultimately you'll want more if you're on Ratebeer.
