A strawberry wheat beer. Drank on tap at Wachi in Kyoto. A very cloudy, deep golden color with reddish tints. Aroma of strawberries, wheat malt, butter, and spices. Tart and sweet. Big strawberry flavor; rather sour, with banana, cloves, and a strong yeast presence. Good balance between sweet and tart. Sour, yeasty wheat malt finish. I thought I would hate it, but it was very well made.
