Intensely cloudy dark amber beer with a small head. Honey, yeast and orange in the rather complex aroma. Sweet, yeasty flavor with milk chocolate and honey. Slight orange sourness. Too yeasty to make a real impression.

Bottle [as Tilburg 2009 Honingbier] @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy dark orange to reddish color, small off - white head. Smell and taste malts, slightly sourish, slightly honey, a bit weird. Average body, fizzy carbonation. Earlier Rating: 2/22/2013 Total Score: 3.9 (8-4-8-4-15) 33cl bottle @ home. Hazy dark orange to light red color, full sized a bit creamy beige head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma of malts, lightly sweet, vineous, slightly herbs or spices. Quite rich. Taste malts, pretty vineous again, slightly herbs or spices, honey, lightly yeast, caramel. Nice aftertaste of malts, a slight bitter and a bit vineous again. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Nicely balanced. One of the best beers from Sint Servattumus I’ve tasted.

Bottle shared. Pours a murky brown with a small tan head. Aroma of honey, cheesy feet, caramel and some dark fruit, a little sickly. Flavour is over medium sweet, light bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Couldn’t finish my glass of this.

Bottle at Arends Nest. Clear reddish brown beer. Big fluffy off white head. Dry palate, semi crisp. Dry sweet malt, very dry. Slightly spiced bubblegum. Finishes very dry. Too bloody dry by a country mile.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear and pretty dark amber with a small off-white head. Malty and slightly vinous nose. Soft, sweetish, roasted malt - and a weak acidic touch. On it’s way to infection? 280705
