bottle@’t Antwaerps Bierhuiske: served in a fake, plastic coconut (oh my god), covered by a thick frothy head & the non-transparent nature of the coconut, I cannot make out the colour but it kind of looks like I got a plate of porridge, smell is utterly fantastic, coconut cream & vanilla sugar, taste is much just like quinua itself is more about structure than flavour so is this beverage, very grainy, feels like I am drinking a bowl of quinua porridge, there is also some yeast somewhere in the back, I don’t know, this is almost to weird to exist

Bottle in Amsterdam at an Ethiopian restaurant, served in a coconut shell with a lime. Clearish yellow pour with a sturdy, white head. Interesting grain nose. Light sweet flavor, cereal and quinua, I guess. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Sweet finish, hints of maple and quinua, rich graininess. Alright.

Probably the best drinkable beer from Mongozo, to me at least. It’s decent, fresh, something for a hot summer day.

This crap tastes like crap. However, it tastes less crap than their other crap, which is even more crap than this crap.

This pretty much looks, smells and taste like a normal pilsner. I didn’t discover any taste of Quinea, though i must admit i’ve never seen, smelled or tasted a real Quinea.

bouteille.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Somewhere between a lager and a blonde. Tangy and a little frothy. Goes down easy. Nice.

Hazy golden with a small white head. Grainy malt aroma with some fruit and spice. When you know it’s there, you can easily spot some buckwheat-like quinoa character. Sweetish grain and fruit flavour. Decent Belgian Blonde

This can’t be good! Bottle brought home from Åland, 2010-08-05, Göteborg AR: wee hoppiness, some yeast AP: pale yellow, high lively chemical white head, fast bubbling F: wild rice, a bit sweet and dry, metallic flavor Well better then expected - but not good! Anyhow wife liked it.

Bottle @ Restaurant Mogogo, The Hague. I drank this from a coconut shell ;-) so no judgement on the appearance, except for the thick white head. Smell is quite artificial/chemical and perfumy, some banana, yeast, flowers, sugar and some sourness. Taste is sweet, some flowers and spices. Has a sourish and dry finish. A bit weird, but an OK beer.
