Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Hazy pale golden with some sediment and small creamy head. Dryish with vanilla and dough. Very light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Despite a touch of metal it’s actually refreshing, seemingly witbier based. Low bitterness. It was a surprise for me that I actually liked this beer - usually I frown upon Huyghe’s mega-sweet beers.

A hazy light orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet and slightly spicy, while the flavor also haas notes of yeast and fruit, leading to a dry end. Very Belgian in style, despite that the bottle states it is inspired by south american brewing.

(Bottle 33 cl) Golden with a small, creamy head. Lightly malty nose. The flavours are - to say the least - extraordinary! Dirt? Potato water? Or the drink I once had in Fiji made from Kava roots - yes that’s it. This is a Kava beer.... 240705

Hazy blond color; big frothy head. The aroma is quite simple, with yeast and too much carbon dioxide. Weak mouthfeel, yeasty; ends with chemicals and a metallic note, and high bitterness. I prefer eating Quinua as a cereals soup… Odd.

Cloudy yellow color, medium white head. Aroma is spice, herb, vegetable, banana. Bit like a combination of a triple style and a german hefeweizen. Taste is sweet and spicy. Dry palate.

Clear pale yellow; thick, irregular head. Flowery nose, a bit spicey, some hops. Sweet taste, like scorzanera (salsifis) or mannah. Mouthfeel is refreshing, light bodied. Yes, nice, strange spicey taste calling up long-forgotten associations. But nothing to go rave about...
