*Old rating from 2011. Golden Ale with its typical flavour. Fresh grainy, hints of sweetness with a moderate bitterness. Nice but a bit sweetish grainy aftertaste.

Variation on Black Sheep Ale with a thick, cream white, equal head and orange blonde colour bordering on amber, clear. Aroma reveals soapy and grassy hoppiness, vanilla, green apple, some orange, a hint of smoked meat and fried egg. Taste fresh and citrussy, peach and orange peel, drying with a relatively strong carbonation due to the bottle conditioning, sweetish pale malts, caramelly middle, smooth but somewhat thin mouthfeel, finishing in a dry grassy and somewhat peppery, yet mild hop bitterness. Refreshing ale.

50cl bottle from the Spar. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - lemon curd and hay. Taste - lemon and metallic. Enveloped in honey. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly good finish but slightly cloying with the tanginess I would say. Overall - decent ale.
