330 ml bottle. Pours a clear brown with moderate head. Aromas of gunpowder and slightly soured toasted malts. Flavors of dusty oak, flat rum, trail mix, toasted malts and more of that odd gunpowder.

Cask (gravity) at Standing Order, Derby. Pours a dark ruby with a small off-white head and good lacing. There’s a strong aroma of molasses and alcohol In the mouth it is slightly sweet with malts to the fore plus plenty of dried fruit, alcohol, cola and spices. Hints too of vanilla and stewed apples. Finish is boozy and decidedly dry. This is gorgeous !

Old note. Bottle 33 cl. Brownish-ruby ale with noisy head. Specifiс aroma: cloying vanilla with toffee and caramel. Taste: quite sweet, vanilla, toffee and caramel, some traces of rum.

As always from Innis and Gunn a very nice clear bottle. Dark brown when poured: dark ruby red when held in front of the light. Minimal 3mm head after pour but stable. Nice nose of caramel, coconut, cream toffee, cherry, clearly rum, rum and raisin chocolate. Very nice in the mouth too, good carbonation, same rum flavours, caramel with cherry notes. Minimal sweetness. Very well rounded. Nice lingering dark malt notes. Very good.

Bottle at Travelodge - Edinburgh 2/12/23. Fluffy off white head on a ruby coloured body. Faint rum aroma. Malt, toffee, red berry & faint rum tastes with a fruity finish. It's alright.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are rum, roast malt, caramel, hops and has s nice rum finish.
