Pours a deep red-copper color. A special batch of Inis & Gunn beer was brewed and matured in oak for 60 days; 30 days in American oak barrels, and 30 days in navy rum barrels. It was then matured 47 more days for a full marriage of flavors.
NOTE: Rum Aged, Rum Finish & Oak Aged Rum Finish are the same beer as Rum Cask. They are an alias for different export markets with a tweaked process.
Innis & Gunn: "They are the same beer, the process changed slightly so we changed the name. But the recipe is the same.

Bottle, small creamy head, beautifull clear deep brown color, aroma of coconut, rum and some wax, flavor of caramel, coconut, vanila and cake maltiness, mellow medium sweetness. Lingering coconut finish. Nice and enjoyable.

Bottle at home, bought at Lidl. Deep amber coler, beige head. I like the taste, but is only because the bottle and the name mentioned "rum", I think I taste this in the aftertaste. Good beer.

330ml bottle. Nose is rum, caramel, and vanilla. Clear rusty red with a medium lightly lacing off white head. Flavor is lightly sweet, malty, rum, and a hint of background bitterness. Actually quite tasty.

Bottle, Innis & Gunn Rum Finish 6.8%. Color: In between ruby and copper, dense cream head. Taste: Pretty complex taste, hard to describe. Medium sweet, notes of rum and oak but not overwhelming, lightly hints of caramel and some hopbitter notes. More rum taste in finish. below medium body and carbonation.
