Pours a deep red-copper color. A special batch of Inis & Gunn beer was brewed and matured in oak for 60 days; 30 days in American oak barrels, and 30 days in navy rum barrels. It was then matured 47 more days for a full marriage of flavors.
NOTE: Rum Aged, Rum Finish & Oak Aged Rum Finish are the same beer as Rum Cask. They are an alias for different export markets with a tweaked process.

Not innis & gunns best beer. But clean and medium run flavours as you'd expect. I would like more from the malt to balance the barrel.

Fles gekregen van Inoven en geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een amberkleurig bruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een lichte rumgeur. De smaak is zacht zoet en licht rum achtig met in de nasmaak eikenhout.

Pivo crvene boje, 6.8% alk. Sazrijevano u hrastovoj bačvi sa dodatkom ruma. Dosta slatkasto ali ima jako ugodan i pun okus. Jako je dobra i vrijedi probati, dođe kao desert poslije ručka.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Roodbruin helder bier met matig schuim dat mooi blijft staan. Aroma houtig en hooiachtig. Smaak is zoet en koffieachtig. De koffiesmaak blijft even hangen.

330mml. bottle. Tasted on the 20/01/2018 at home. Clear amber colour with a lacing off-white head. Aroma of bourbon barrels, caramel and toffee. Taste is medium wood and burnt caramel with a slightly sweet toffee finish. Next one please!

Bottle. Dark ruby/mahagony with a decent white head. Some lacing. Aroma of rum, wood, brown sugar and dark fruits. Taste is rum sweetness, malts, a little bit of wood, some raisins and sugar. The rum is really present in this one. Medium carbonation. Balanced but I somehow wish it had something more to offer. Still nice though.

I tried this from a brown bottle and it is labeled 6.8%. Dark amber color. the aroma has brown sugar and sweet malt. I do find this warming. Alcohol in the aroma as well. Flavor has malt sweetness, and sugar, I can taste the rum. Nice palate. The alcohol is there but not overwhelming. Well done.

Rum finish 6.8%. Bruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en licht bitter met iets van karamel. De rum niet echt kunnen ontdekken, desondanks best aardig bier.

Amber colored, ruby hue, medium beige creamy head. Aroma is of malt, caramel, some biscuit and light toffee, mostly rum and some oak vanilla. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel, biscuit and some toffee, again mostly rum and oak barrel, vanilla, medium- bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit creamy. Nice. (bottle)
