Draught @ Zeezicht, Breda, shared with Caesar. Opaque pitch black color with a medium sized thick light brown head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is lightly stout-ish mixed with red fruit, because of the description I’d say raspberry, but I personally lean more towards the dark forest fruits. Flavor is similar, with a very nice stout influence. Tastes like a smooth 8.23% ABV stout. Quite nice, I really like it.

22 oz bottle. Black pour with a minimal tan head. The aroma has bitter unsweetened dark chocolate and raspberry jam on lightly burnt toast somewhere nearby. The flavor is not too sweet, chocolate, berry, almost a licorice as well. Full bodied, viscous.

Draft @ Beer Temple, 5 oz taster. Black color. Thick, dense brown head. Aroma’s: firm roast, coffee, raspberry, coming out more when warming up. Retronasal it’s a nice combi of raspherry, coffee, chocolate, roast. Flavor is moderate sweet, with fruity raspberry sourness, roast and chocolate. Full bodied, chewy, as can be expected of CC’s impies. Long finish, fruity, chocolatey, roasty. Lovely stuff.

Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, fruit stones, berry skin, sour-ish roasted grain, bark, dark malts, dark sugar, booze, harsh hops, sour raspberries, licorice, harsh coffee. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.
