330ml bottle from Kihoskh. BBE 18/01/22. Pours pitch black with a thick foamy brown head. Great aroma with loads of coffee, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, mudcake, hints of roastiness, coconut and hazelnuts. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and heavy with coffee notes, some mocha, espresso, dark chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, hints of hazelnut, mudcake and earthiness. Finish is slightly sweet and heavy with some coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, mudcake, cocoa and nutty notes. Great stuff.

Bottle bought in San Diego in February 2017. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, ash and malt. Similar taste. Fairly sweet and with a medium body. Some warming alcohol in the finish.

Bottled at Kraken / En Arena, in Stockholm, on March 18, 2017.During a brutal metal music event.Black color, brown head. Chocolate, malty, sweet, sausage, cacao scent. Chocolate, malty, roasted, alcohol taste. Chocolate, bitter, alcohol aftertaste. Medium full mouthfeel, medium bitterness. A slight hint of metallic aftertaste.

42nd Floor Bottleshare. Opaque dark brown beer, bubbly dark tan head. Airy dry dark malts. Rich dark chocolate and good coffee. Mild spice. Little dark fruits. Little liqueur like alcohol. Semi dry finish brings a touch of wood. Rich but pretty drinkable.

Bottle from Gambrinus. Pours a pitch black with almost no head. Espresso forward nose with vanilla and cream. Creamy, smooth dark cacao on the palate. Literrally like a melted cacao bar on the palate. Just endless, high end, high percentage cacao that melts as it warms on the palate. Creamy texture with some faint vanilla. Finishes with lightly, roasted cacao nib, coffee and faint vanilla (the outside of the pods). Bottle shared in London - thanks to Kenny. Pours oily black-brown with a frothy, beige head. The nose has rich cocoa, dried dark fruits, espresso. Medium sweet flavour with lots of baking cocoa, scorched earth. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with light warmth, more rich baking cocoa, burnt wood dryness, ash, coffee ice cream. Great depth.
