Bottle from Bacchanalia, drunk at home. Extremely dark brown with a brown head that dissipates quickly. I catch freshly-brewed coffee in the aroma at first, and then the sweet, spicy vanilla. It has a creamy sweet taste with coffee and a touch of liquorice, but a light bitterness follows with earthy hop. Finish is more balanced. Bitter cooking chocolate in the aftertaste. Body is thinner than most strong stouts. It’s a subtle drink that belies its strength.

schenkt stroperig pikzwart met fantastische bruine kraag.aroma en smaken van zoete spekjes, chocolade, vanille, suiker, geroosterde en gebrande mouten, koffie, redelijke vanille, zacht/glad, matig bitter, cacao, poederig, alcohol, stevig, op en top genietbier. redelijke tot volle body.

0,33l bottle at home shared with Powy and the gf. No obvious BB date. black color, small very dark coffee colored head. smells of coffee, roasty bitter, earthy, lightly lactic, light caramel, very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coffee, earthy, light caramel, spices, peppery, light vanilla, bitter chocolate. finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of coffee, vanilla and some bitter chocolate. lovely balance. drinks very good and easy, great stuff.

Thanks! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Beerlovers Bar. Black, huge deep tanned mocha head. Nose is cacao, huge lactose vanilla, sugar, candy sweet pralines, too vanilla, lactose for me,... Taste is luckily massive coffee upfront, wonderful rich coffee, sweet but still low earthly tones, great stuff, finish is all sweet pralines, bit too much vanilla / lactose, sugar,... Lactose sweet sugar coffee body / pralines. Really good coffee, overall really good stuff, vanilla is a bit much, Omnipollo is not about balance, not perfect but really good stuff all the same.

330 mml bottle. Tasted on the 28/05/2017 at home. Opaque black colour with a brown head. Aroma of vanilla, coffee, roasted malts and liquorice. Taste is dark coffee, vanilla and roasted malts. Soft carbonation. Next one please!

Bottle shared by Gurthnar, many thanks. Very dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of coffee, vanilla. Taste, nougat, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, alcohol. Nice one.

Bottle. Rich and intense dark malty character, chocolate, coffee, toffee, vanilla. Alcohol hidden well, moderately sweet, medium-low warmth, practically no roasty astringency. Loaded with flavours. Great beer.

Fra fat på Cirkus, Stavanger, sammen med Willy (Bjørnøy Rundt Triatlon): brunsvart med flott beige cremeskum som varer. Vidunderlig aroma og enda lekrere smak av mørke dessertsjokolader, nybrent kvalitetskaffe og vanilje. Superb på alle måter. Som kaffe med Bailey og sjokoladekake i et glass. Kveldends avslutning, og den kunne ikke vært bedre! 8-4-9-5-18
