0.33 l bottle from 'Etre Gourmet', bottled in April 2025, 4.8% abv. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty aroma of coffee, some cocoa and hints of nuts. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, quite roasty taste of coffee, cocoa, ash and roasted nuts, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter, burnt finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent.

On tap at Het Lagerhuys. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Toasted rye bread and spicy Belgian yeast on the nose. Flavour has dry, toasted bread, spicy Belgian yeast. Dry and roasty, fantastic stout.

dark roasted malts, light coffee, ad some light soy. flavor was very savory, big on roasted malts, and a dry quickly bitter coffee finish. a solid stout, super sessionable stout.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso caffè e cioccolato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma color marrone chiaro, cremosa, dalla buona tenuta e persistenza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Bollicine fini compongono anche la forma del perlage. La carbonazione è persistente. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è duratura. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di cioccolato, caffè, liquirizia, nocciole tostate, frutta secca e agrumi.

Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, touch of charcoal. Flavour is light sweet and medium roasty bitter. Body is light to medium. Excellent for a low abv Stout, light but very roasty and drinkable, a pleasant surprise.
