Аромат очень ванильный, также ощущается бельгийский шоколад, легкие пряности, немного ягод, и прочие сахарные нотки, хмеля на удивление почти нет. Цвет чернущий, пена маленькая, видно что напиток очень тяжелый по плотности. Вкус сладкий, но не приторный, во главе угла тут ягоды, а точнее малина и что то вроде клубники. При глотке кислинка, снова нотки ванили и шоколада, карбонизация весьма низкая. Горчинка есть, но хмель едва ли ощущается, больше кислинки от ягод чем хмелевой составляющей. В целом больше на имперца какотого похож, чем на черную ипу. Очень благородный напиток, ну и конечно при 11 градусах алкоголь вообще не ощущается что радует, хотя оно жестко пьянит естественно.

440ml can from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Black.brownish body, diminishing beige head, dotted spots on the glass. Promising cocoa-chocolate aromas, hints of berry skins. Blended taste profile of grainy chocolate and strawberries, lactose smoothness beneath. Rather sweet malt-berry end. Something else, and quite alright in smaller amounts. (Tromsø 18.04.2022).

Strange in a good tasting way. No Black IPA. Creamy milkshakey with some red fruits.

(473ml can @ Salt Horse, Edinburgh, June 24/19) Pours very dark brown with an off-white head. Notes of deep chocolate and roasted malts at the core, earthy, with creamy lactose vibes and quite present strawberry, hop presence is a little softer but there are citrusy, leafy edges, definitely rather sweet and milky through the sip with a slight acidity from the strawberry, semi-dry toasty nutty finish with the hops a little more apparent and a hint of the 11% warmth. Medium-full body, creamy, very fine carbonation. Truly a bizarre beverage but on the whole it works, though I am glad I split the can.

ABV: 11.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, chocolate, cocoa, strawberry, icecream, vanilla, moderate dark malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, vanilla, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, strawberry, icecream, milk sugar, cocoa. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20210121]
