Bottle @ Koelschtrinker's Tasting. Smooth sweetish beginning. Not too sticky, round and smooth with a nice milk chocolate bitter ending. Easy to drink, round and smooth with chocolate nutty hints on a quite sessionable and easy to drink but not watery body. Nice.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, best before March 2020. Dark brown to black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, hazelnut and some licorice. Quite sweet, malty, slightly roasty and quite resiny taste of milk chocolate, coffee, licorice, some pine and a touch of tropical fruits, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, quite resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with small, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately and minimally spicy, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chococlate, chocolate cookies, cocoa, hints of roasted nuts, a touch of liquorice. Taste is slightly sweet, chocolately, roasty dark malty and fruity hoppy, notes of dark chocolate, hints of roasted nuts, a touch of liquorice, treacle, cocoa, fruity complement with notes of cherry, red berries, a touch of plum; oily texture, carbonation isn't too lively but accounts for drinkability due to an alleviating, refreshing effect.

Bottled 330ml (Silja-Tallink taxfree)
Opaque colour, small steady beige head. Toasted aroma has some licorice and cocoa. Medium-bodied. Slightly sticky. Roasted malts, licorice, vegetables, ash, semi-sweet. Not really so close to the most typical old-skool Baltic porters. More crafty but same time kind of homebrewish approach.
