Úlfrún is a tip o’ the hat to the American new-wave IPA.

Over a multi-grain fermentation of barley, wheat, rye and oats, the Mosaic, Citra and Centennial hops deliver the distinct fruitiness and trigger the tropical delight of pineapple and mango.

Ingredients: Pure Icelandic water, malted barley, malted rye, malted wheat, hops, oats and yeast.

Cloudy golden, white froth. Malty, tired fruity hops aroma. Fruity, bitter flavour, not so tired as the aroma. Nice, clean bitter finish.

Smell of hops, herbs. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, some citrus, malty and papery finish. Also vegetables. Medium bitter, dry palate. Lively carbon.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Can. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich tropical fruits, flowers, malt, hops and has a light watery finish.

Can 33 cl. Pours a pale, hazy golden with a neat, white and lacing head. Citrusy, limey aroma - with a hint of dankness. Medium body, slightly sweet fruitiness with great hop accents throughout. Very smooth on the palate. Dry finish without actual bitterness. Lovely! 150121

Mein letztes Mitbringsel meines Kumpels Bernhard von seiner Islandreise. Eine wahre Hopfenexplosion mit ordentlich grasig-krautigen Kernaromen und fruchtigen Ansätzen. Im Abgang recht herb, aber es bleibt harmonisch. Hat mir wirklich gut geschmeckt.
