Keg at Black Isle Cider. It pours lightly hazy golden with a dissipating white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, apple skin, barnyard, apple pie and custard. The taste is crisp, dry, sweet - sour, juicy, apple pie, touch sherbet, fresh, appletiser, sweet, bit of icing sugar and spritzy with a soft, dry finish. Average body. Fruity and easy drinking. Maybe a touch sweet. But decent anyhow.

On keg at the Black Isle Bar, Inverness. Appearance - cloudy golden with no head and very low carbonation. Nose - smells like proper still Scrumpy. Sour apples. Taste - more of the same. Good to have a genuine Scottish ciderwith provenance. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - proper cider! Great stuff.
