This bottle just showed up in the inventory, not sure where I bought it. But it is quite cool outside, ideal time to try a new imperial stout. 15.9% abv, oh my, bourbon barreled and bottled on 2/6/18 the label says. I pour into my New Belgium snifter and take a sniff. Very chocolatey and deep with the berries. The body is the expected dark, dark brown, maybe black with a thin medium tan top. The taste, by my estimation, jeez, really fine.Heavy with the malt, dark chocolate, strawberry, caramel, grain and a strong bitterness completing. A strong taste, all to the good, the alcohol is there but not overpowering.

Taste is sweet boozy, dark sugar, raisins, minerals, booze, fruit stones, licorice, oak, dark malts, "knekk", caramel. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly sweet boozy mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle split at L6, thanks to Danny, 31/10/18. Good to catch up with this one that I'd most definitely had in the states pre RB days! Black with a decent tan head. Nose is rich roast, fruit cake, cocoa powder, dried fruits, burnt toffee, brown sugar melt. Taste comprises roast malts, toffee, chocolate dipped raisins, molasses, light spice, fruit loaf, charr, booze tunes. Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close. Solid impy ... drinks well for such high boost ABV.

12oz bottle from Seattle shared with Andrey. Batch #6, bottled on 2017-02-24. ABV 14.9%. Appearance: very dark brown with a brown head. Aroma: dark fruits, some ink and barrel notes. Taste: moderately to high sweet, boozy notes, bitterness. Overall: pretty good, but I don't think there is a good balance here. There is not enough body for this level of sweetness and booziness as well as a bit more wood. 8-4-8-4-15=39. 355ml bottle. Bottled on 2016-02-19. ABV is 17.1%. Pours a very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma is bourbon, oak, some fruits and chocolate. Similar taste with lots of roasted malt bitterness, black chocolate, and booziness. I wish it would be less boozy, as it drinks like a boozy bomb. 8-5-8-5-15=41
