Bottle (2018 vintage) sourced from Systembolaget Hansa, Malmö shared at home with the in-laws - pours black with a thin tan head. Dark sweet and roasted malty with opulent chocolate, some caramel and treacle notes, light earthy charred malty accents, smooth full bodied, lovely dark malty laced rich bourbon soaked wooden notes into the finish. Gorgeous.

Tasting at Fiery Tasting Room
Black colour, oily. Aroma of dark malts, dark chocolate, deep tobacco, spirit, some tar. Full bodied, rich malt and chocolate, strong booze, some tar and liquorice, bourbon, warming finish.
An extreme beer, excellent.

Bottle shared by Pilsnertest, many thanks! Thick, black with beige head. Roasted with coffee, liquorice, bourbon, vanilla. Light carboard. Heavily boozy. Leathery finish. Good, but a bit overwhelming.

Så og si svart farge med beige skum. Lukter kaffe, vanilje, trevirke, sjokolade. Meget fyldig. Sødme i smak. Nydelig god øl. God søtlig og alkoholvarme som avslutning.

Svart med fingerhøyt lyst brunt skum. Lukter engelsk lakris, vanilje, bourbon, nøtter og kaffe. Fyldig. Søt smak, engelsk lakris, nøtter, fiken, trevirke og vanilje. Lang.

12oz bottle pours out black topped with a small brown head. Nose is big roast malts coffee chocolate ash burnt brown sugar and bourbon barrel notes. Taste is more of the nice big roast coffee rich dark chocolate ash and boozy bourbon barrel notes.
