Bouteille 12oz, bottled 24/02/2017, batch# 6.

2012 bottle. Pours black, with a small, bubbly, brown head. Baking chocolate, earth, caramel, oak, and a touch of red wine. Very sweet and lightly bitter. Heavy body, with an oily, grainy, and harsh mouthfeel. Just decadent. Might be past its prime, though.

17.4% version from March 27th 2012. Opaque black - brown beer, good dark tan head. Palate is airy and has modest fine carbonation. Rich dark malts, quite fruity. Spicy coffee. Brandy alcohol dominates any bourbon. Finishes with more spicy tangy coffee and dark fruits. Spicy alcohol linger. Full on, five years old but could have left it another five I reckon!

Bottle shared. Very dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Notes of bourbon all over, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, alcohol. A bit too boozy, hard to drink, but good anyway.

12 oz bottle. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate cake, licorice, soya sauce, muddy bourbon, and dark caramel malts. Rich flavors of same with emphasis on caramel and bourbon barrel. Thick and a bit hot - but heck it’s 17%. Wonderful stuff,
