Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep amber with a nice lacy head. Then tonnes of yeast. Nose - orange liqueur with herbs. Taste - tangy orange in fact marmalade. Palate - close to medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - good ipa. The yeast could’ve been filtered a bit more.

Bottle from de Molen Beershop, bottled on 24-12-2014 BB 24-12-2016, large sample. Almost clear orange to amber color with quite some tiny debris (and I was happy to not pour the huge amounts of sediment, so it could have been much worse), medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of hop, orange marmelade, apricot, grapefruit, slight grassy as well, slight caramel. Slight bitter in taste, loads of grainy malt, dry biscuit and whole grain cookie, slight spicy. Quite dry in the finish and slight alcoholic and heavy like an american strong ale.

Due to artificial coloured illumination, appearance not estimable, arbitrary 4/5 Fresh, but quite subdued hops, rosewater. Artificial sweetness, rosewater, amandine, but in a very bad way. As if sweetened with Stevia. Medium bodied, sugary-viscous. For brewers’ sake, what is this?

Double IPA with very sticky, thick, dense, cream white head and cloudy ochre blonde colour with a large amount of yeast cells throughout (I received the bottom of the bottle). Very aromatically hoppy aroma, pine needles, pink grapefruit, hemp, bitter honey, old cheese... Fruity taste, sweetish and honeyish accent in onset, expectedly very yeasty, nice bready malt sweetishness underlying a very long, dry, piney and citrussy, spicy hop bitterness with a resinous mouthfeel, some warming alcohol all the way at the back. Maybe not the most original example of the style, but well-crafted and very tasty, like most of their beers, actually...
