In Finland we have a special relationship with our salted licorice or 'Salmiakki' as we call it, and it's the true essence of its unique bursting flavor that we wanted to transform into liquid drinkable form. Pretty cloudy cardinal red to reddish orange beer, small creamy irregular light pink head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lovely, lots of raspberry jam, some vanilla, sweet impression, super fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit dirty, infected, lots of yoghurt, diacetyl, sourish, raspberry jam. Aftertaste: dry, acidic, metallic, raspberry jam, ok-ish, but doesn't live up to the promising smell...
Luckily not getting much licorice...

Borefts XI Day 1. Keg. Hazy darkish peach colour beer, small pale peach head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth raspberry and well integrated licorice. Nicely integrated malt cream. Light finish. Nice, works well.

Draft at Borefts’19, Day 1. Fairly hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of tart raspberry and licorice. Flavour is moderate sweet and sour and light moderate salty. Light bodied with light carbonation.

Can recieved with Euro Santa 2019, many thanks to VastActiv! Tried at home with Koen. The colour is murky reddish with a foamy white head. The aroma is fruity and raspberry. The taste is sweet, sour, salty with a hint of licorice.
