From tap at Borefts 2019. Nice Calvados influence, with an aroma of grapes and dark malt. Sourish and a bit funky. Notes of leather, earthy. Wild, not totally refined, needs more age? Interesting.

ABV: 8.0%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, leather - brett - funk, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, dark malt, sour, brett, wood, sweet malt, barrel - wood, earthy, apple. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190928]

Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 2. Opaque dark brown to black color, average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, bretty notes. Flavor is hard to describe, I really have no idea. Dark malt and brett I guess? Oh well, drinkable but not my favorite for sure.

At Borefts 2019. Aroma of calvados, brett, tart and malt. Flavor of tart dry funk, apple, booze, calvados and malt. Nice.

Borefts 2019 - Black. Aroma has sour Brett funk. Flavour is similar but with dark roasted malts too. Interesting.

Tap @ Borefts. Deep dark brown color. Brett, caramel, apple and licorice in the aroma and flavor. Sweet, toffee, calvados. Complex and well balanced.

Sampled at Borefts 2019, Saturday. A very dark brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of bretty dark fruits, cherries. Taste of mild tart cherries, strong dark malt, coffee.
