Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong, fine spicy, modest sweet. Some woody notes. Finish a bit drier, still strong and wheaty-spicy. Nice!

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and fluffy foamy head. Moderately sweet and bready malty aroma with present grassy and herbal hoppy notes. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready malty taste with grassy and slightly herbal accents from the beginning, turning into a bitter sweet and bitter slightly grassy hoppy finish. Not overly complex nor exciting and definitely not identical to the toasty Drachenblut. 17.XII.11

500ml bottle (Zimbus Drachenblut). Clear amber with huge creamy white head. Earthy grain aroma, bread and hay, some bitter hop. Soft palate, monotonous slightly sweet malt taste with a sparkling interlude and a simple fade out instead of a real finish.

Bottled (as ZImbus Drachenblut). Golden colour with a big foamy off-white head. Aroma is bready malts, some slight sweeter maltyness as well as some saltwater and mild grassyness. Flavour is a bit saltwatery along with a quite strong maltyness as well as some slight bitterness. Pleasantly balaced.
