Keg. Pours pitch black, a small tan/brown clingy head. Looks mean. Huge coffee, dark chocolate, roasty aroma. Taste is intense, bitter coffee, chocolate and dark malts, dark chocolate biscuit, vanilla sweetness, a lasting and clingy bittersweet finish. Very good.

Bottle from Beer Emporium, Bristol, consumed at Frank, (camper), Baltic Wharf, Bristol, Saturday 3rd January 2015 Pours black with slim light beige head. Light coffee on nose with a touch of vanilla, soft and smooth, but a little punchy. I have had a few today (and some big beers) so bit fed up of rating, but rest assured this is good. Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 5/10/2013. Opaque and jet black with a thin tan head. Massive aroma of coffee beans and plain chocolate, with a touch of vanilla lurking in the background. full mouth feel, with a big chocolate malt edge, more coffee, some tobacco and a vague lactose tang before a rich finish. An excellent, complex beer.
