Onze dubbel heeft een licht zoetige smaak. Door het gebruik van chocolademout krijgt het z’n roodbruine kleur. Na de dronk beleef je een zacht mondgevoel met een lange droge afdronk. Een prachtig bier om bij weg te dromen.

Bottle @ restaurant Prins Heerlijk, Nijkerk. Colour is clear reddish brown, so probably still brewed at Salland/Huttenklaos (because filtered). Off white head. Aroma's: roasted malts, light vegetal/sulphuric, some dark chocolate. Retronasal there's firm roast, dark chocolate. Flavor is above moderate sweet, chocolate, light herbal. Medium bodied. Finishes slightly roasted. Not bad.

Appearance: Pretty dark brown, clear. Some off-white head.
Aroma: Light malt, slight caramel sweetness.
Taste: Malt, toasted, caramel sweetness. Smooth.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Dark red-brown color with a medium sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, iron, rusty, slightly red fruit, a hint of roast and a slight sourness in the background. Decent body and carbonation. Meh.

Bottle @ benzai. Dark brown colour with a small off-white head. Smells plum, sweet, overripe fruits. Tastes sourish, iron, rust, slightly roasty. The iron and sourishness ruins it for me. Thin to medium body, nice carbo.

Light brown colour. Aroma and flavour have nice caramel sweetness. Smooth and easy to drink.
